Hell Let Loose Vietnam Maps: All 6 Launch Maps Explained

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam launched with six maps (official launch content count). This page tracks the confirmed map list and what the terrain types mean for how matches play. Individual map callouts are being verified in-game post-launch — entries marked TBA will be filled as we confirm them rather than guessed. Last updated: August 14, 2026.

What is confirmed

How Vietnam terrain changes the Hell Let Loose meta

  1. Sightlines shrink. Jungle foliage cuts the long-range infantry duels of the WWII game; engagements compress and flanking through vegetation becomes the core infantry skill.
  2. Verticality matters via air. Ridgelines that would be static fronts are turned by helicopter insertions — air cavalry is the counter to jungle stalemates.
  3. Water is a lane. On delta maps, controlling river routes with patrol boats decides resupply — a genuinely new axis for the series.
  4. Tunnels reshape defence. Underground spawns mean a “cleared” sector can repopulate behind you; sweeping tunnel entrances is now part of holding ground.
