Hell Let Loose: Vietnam launched August 13, 2026 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S simultaneously at $39.99. Last verified: August 14, 2026.

PS5

The PS5 version is a full launch platform, not a port-later situation — PlayStation ran an official launch trailer and PS5 players had access to the July open beta. Console crossplay with Xbox is enabled (crossplay details).

Xbox Series X|S

Same-day launch on both Series X and Series S. Note: launch-week players report crash issues concentrated on Series S in helicopter-heavy fights — covered in our crash fix guide with the current state of console hotfixes.

Is it on Game Pass?

No. Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is not on Game Pass, and no Game Pass release has been announced. The confusion exists because the original Hell Let Loose spent time in the Game Pass catalog; the Vietnam standalone is a full-price release on every platform.

Last-gen consoles (PS4 / Xbox One)

Not available and not planned — the Unreal Engine 5 build targets current-gen hardware only.

Which version should you buy?

• PC if you want the largest player pool and mouse aim — but check system requirements first; the game is CPU-heavy.
• PS5/Xbox if your squad is on console — the console pool is healthy and crossplay covers both.
